Empathy truly is a work of the heart, and in your spring issue of the MB Teacher, we explore just some of the ways it shows up in your work. MTS members share their experiences in community building through gaming clubs, and how they literally bring education to life with laying hens, bees, garden veggies and sustainability programming. The school even has a therapy chicken!

We explore the importance of venues where women in education can develop their leadership potential, and how advocacy forms an essential, yet largely unsung aspect of school leadership.

Finally, we’ll tell you all about a two-year working group pilot project at MTS, aimed squarely at tangible change on key issues identified by you, the membership.
